Laframboise Timeline: Past, Present, Future

Robert laframboise began business in his garage as a residential plumbing, heating, and sheet metal contractor with six part time employees.

1969

1969

The business had expanded with full time employees to include a mechanical and electrical division to serve industrial an institutional clients.

1976

1976

Laframboise established a steel fabrication shop that designed and fabricated pressure vessels, heat exchange and storage tanks. Two years later a pipe fabrication facility was added.

1982

1982

Robert and Doris laframboise had all three of their children, Michael, Lori, and Mark working full time to run the family business.

1985

1985

Laframboise acquired yet another pipe fabrication facility to expand the group throughout North America.

1990

The New York office opened with 20 employees to expand to 150 due to the growth in serving larger US corporations.

As the company continued to grow throughout canada and the US, Robert continued to establish a prestigious reputation of quality and service before his retirement.

Moving further through the us, the South Carolina office opened, creating employment for over hundreds of area residents on over 40 projects.

Michael Laframboise made the largest expansion Laframboise had ever seen by purchasing an 88 acre facility on the St. Lawrence River. Allowing shipment and delivery access by barge.

The open shop division was relocated to Bartow, Florida to concentrate on the Southern markets which to date have established projects as far as Texas and Louisiana.

The grand opening of the Laframboise corporate head quarters happened in 2019 under president Michael Laframboise. Today Laframboise remains a family operated, privately owned trades contracting firm presently employing three generations.
